Short Summary
On November 19–20, at the IV. Research Deans Workshop hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halilibrahim Çiftçi and Lecturer Dr. Damla Bayana Sönmez from our university participated. At the workshop, the functioning of research deanships, large-scale research programs, project enhancement strategies, and inter-institutional collaboration opportunities were discussed. Throughout the event, topics that will strengthen our research ecosystem were evaluated, and exchanges of views were made for new collaborations with different universities.

We participated in the IV. Research Deanships Workshop held on November 19–20, hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
Within the scope of the workshop; the functioning of research deanships and coordinatorships in different universities, studies conducted for large-scale research programs such as ERC, Horizon Europe, COST, TUSEB, TEYDEB, TAGEM, strategies aimed at increasing projects, mentor–mentee applications, data-driven management approaches, and good practice examples aimed at strengthening national/international collaborations were discussed.
Representing our university, our Research Development Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halilibrahim ÇİFTÇİ and our Assistant Coordinator Lecturer Dr. Damla BAYANA SÖNMEZ attended the workshop.
Throughout the event, topics that will strengthen our research ecosystem were evaluated; mutual exchange of ideas with different universities for new collaborations and future projects was conducted.
We will continue to work on developing our university's research capacity.
